Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

Circle Up Stories LLC ('Circle Up Stories,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our') makes the Build, Piggy, Build! website at buildpiggybuild.com and the Build, Piggy, Build! mobile application (together, the 'Services'). This Privacy Policy explains what information is (and is not) collected when you use the Services.

The short version

You can play against computer opponents on your device with no account. Saves for those games, plus your local Piggy Wall (bricks, badges, and play stats), stay on the device unless you sign in. If you sign in (Sign in with Apple, and Google where offered) you can play live vs. mode, keep a username and friends list, share join links, appear on public win leaderboards, and sync your Piggy Wall to your account. That online play is hosted for Circle Up Stories on Heroku. If you buy the physical game on this website, Square processes the payment and shipping details so we can mail your copy. The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits. We do not run advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell personal information.

Buying the game

Checkout on this website is hosted by Square. When you click Buy, a new tab opens Square's checkout. Square may collect:

  • Name, email address, and shipping address
  • Payment card or wallet details (Square processes these; we do not see full card numbers)
  • Order contents, tax, and shipping charges

We receive the order information we need to pack and ship the game and to answer support mail. Square's practices are described in Square's Privacy Policy.

Information the app stores on your device

Bot games and an unsigned Piggy Wall save on the device. They do not require sign-in. The app may store:

  • An in-progress table game (cards, turn, opponent names the app picked, and difficulty), so you can tap Continue later. Starting a new deal replaces that save. Finishing a game clears it.
  • Your chosen opponent difficulty and shake-to-roll setting, so the next deal uses the same choices.
  • Your Piggy Wall: games played, wins, streaks, bricks, badges, and identifiers for finished tables so the same game is not counted twice.

Shake-to-roll uses the device motion sensors only on the device, to tell when you shook the phone. Motion readings are not sent to Circle Up Stories or stored as a history.

Unsigned bot and wall saves stay on the device. Deleting the app removes them, subject to any copies your operating system keeps in a backup you control (for example, an iCloud or computer backup).

Accounts, vs. mode, Piggy Wall, and leaderboards

Vs. mode, friends, join links, and leaderboards require an account. On iOS you sign in with Apple. Where offered, you may also sign in with Google. We receive an identifier from that provider and, if they provide it, an email address (Apple may give a private relay address instead). We do not receive your Apple or Google password. A session token is stored in the device keychain so you stay signed in.

If you create an account we store:

  • Your chosen username (we filter profanity and reserved names)
  • Friends you request or accept
  • Join codes and live match state while a vs. table is open
  • Wins, games played, and win percentage for vs. matches (counted by our game server) and for bot games you finish while signed in
  • Your Piggy Wall (bricks, badges, streaks, and related play stats), synced from the device so it can follow a signed-in account
  • An optional push-notification token if you allow notifications, so we can tell you a friend invited you to a table

Other signed-in players can see your username and leaderboard stats. They do not see your email. Join links look like join.buildpiggybuild.com/as78f; anyone with the link can try to sit at that table if they are signed in and there is an open seat.

Online services run on Heroku (Salesforce) at api.buildpiggybuild.com and join.buildpiggybuild.com. Apple, Google, and Apple Push Notification service process sign-in or notification data according to their policies.

There is no in-app chat, contact-book upload, or in-app store. Settings links to this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and buildpiggybuild.com open in the device browser.

Data the iOS app may send off the device

Apple asks apps to say which kinds of data leave the device. If you never sign in, the app does not send us personal information. If you sign in, Circle Up Stories may collect the following for app functionality only. It is linked to your account. It is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

  • Email address — if Apple or Google provides one at sign-in, so we can run your account
  • User ID — the account identifier from Apple or Google and our own user ID
  • Other user content — the username you choose
  • Gameplay content — live vs. tables, join codes, and Piggy Wall progress
  • Product interaction — wins, games played, and related leaderboard stats

We do not collect precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone content, payment details in the app, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or diagnostics addressed to Circle Up Stories.

Information we do not receive from unsigned play

If you never sign in, the app does not send us your bot games or Piggy Wall, and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. We still do not collect:

  • Precise or coarse location
  • Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone content
  • Payment information (the app itself does not take payments)
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Analytics or crash events addressed to Circle Up Stories

Website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Vs. mode and account APIs are hosted on Heroku. When you visit buildpiggybuild.com, Cloudflare may process standard technical information needed to deliver the pages, such as IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. Cloudflare may also set a technical cookie used to run and protect the site. That processing is described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

The site loads the Quicksand typeface from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and browser details as part of serving that file. See Google's Privacy Policy. The trailer video is hosted on this site; playing it does not load YouTube or another video platform.

We use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. Google may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser details as part of that measurement. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in Analytics. We do not place advertising cookies or a tracking pixel, and we do not use Analytics for ads.

If you email us, we will receive the address and message you send, and we will use them only to respond and to keep a record of the request.

App stores and device platforms

If you download the app from Apple's App Store or another store, that store has its own privacy policy. Apple, Google, or another platform operator may collect information about the download, purchase, crash reports, or device according to the settings you choose and their policies. We do not control that collection.

Children

Build, Piggy, Build! is a family card game. Children may play against computer opponents with a parent or guardian, without an account. Accounts, vs. mode, friends, join links, and leaderboards are for users 13 and older (or the digital consent age where you live). We do not knowingly create online accounts for children under that age. A parent or guardian who believes we have an account for a child should email us and we will delete it.

Do not type a child's email address, full legal name, or other contact details into the app or into checkout.

Children should not complete a purchase. A parent or guardian must place any order for the physical game.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share account and vs. data with the processors needed to run those features: Apple and Google (sign-in), Heroku (hosting), and Apple Push Notification service if you allow notifications. Website measurement is processed by Google Analytics. Other signed-in players can see your username and public leaderboard stats. We may disclose information if required by law, or to a successor if Circle Up Stories LLC is involved in a merger, sale, or similar transaction.

Your choices

  • Delete the app to remove locally stored table-game and Piggy Wall data from the device.
  • Sign out, change your username, turn off notifications, or delete your account in Settings. Deleting the account removes you from friends lists and leaderboards and deletes the cloud copy of your Piggy Wall.
  • Use your device settings to control backups, shake-to-roll, and any tracking permissions provided by the operating system.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, or Google's Analytics opt-out, if you do not want the website measured by Google Analytics.
  • Email us to ask what information we hold from orders, correspondence, or an online account, or to request that we delete it.

International visitors

The Services are operated from the United States. If you visit the website from another country, your request is processed in the United States and on Cloudflare's network.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app or website changes. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the revised policy.
